Rates come from the European Central Bank's daily reference data (via the free Frankfurter API), so they reflect real mid-market exchange rates — the same benchmark banks quote from. Note that banks and money-transfer services add a margin, so the rate you actually get may differ slightly.
How often do rates update?
The ECB publishes reference rates once every working day, so the figures here update daily.
Is this the rate I'll get at the bank?
It's the mid-market rate. Banks and transfer apps usually add a small spread, so expect a slightly less favourable rate in practice.
