The magic of compounding

A Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) means investing a fixed amount every month. Early on, most of your money is what you put in. But as years pass, your returns start earning their own returns — and the green "returns" portion of the chart overtakes the blue "invested" portion. That crossover is compounding, and it's the single most powerful force in building wealth.

How it's calculated

FV = P × [ (1 + i)ⁿ − 1 ] ÷ i × (1 + i)  +  Lump × (1 + r)ʸ

where P = monthly amount, i = monthly return (annual ÷ 12), n = months, r = annual return, y = years.

Is the return guaranteed?

No. This is a projection using a constant assumed return. Real market returns vary year to year. Use it to understand the power of consistent investing, not as a promise.

Is it private?

Yes — every calculation runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded.
