Trigonometry Calculator
Calculate trigonometric functions including sine, cosine, tangent, and their inverse functions. Solve triangle problems with ease using degrees or radians.
How to Use
- Select the unit type (degrees or radians) for your calculation
- Choose the trigonometric function you want to calculate
- Enter the input value (angle for standard functions, ratio for inverse functions)
- Click "Calculate" to see the result
Trigonometric Functions
- Sine (sin): Ratio of opposite side to hypotenuse
- Cosine (cos): Ratio of adjacent side to hypotenuse
- Tangent (tan): Ratio of opposite side to adjacent side
- Cosecant (csc): Reciprocal of sine (1/sin)
- Secant (sec): Reciprocal of cosine (1/cos)
- Cotangent (cot): Reciprocal of tangent (1/tan)
- Inverse Functions: Find the angle when you know the ratio
Important Notes
- For inverse sine and cosine, input values must be between -1 and 1
- Tangent is undefined at 90° (π/2 radians) and 270° (3π/2 radians)
- Results are rounded to 10 decimal places for precision
- Inverse function results are returned in the selected unit type
